1ST DAY: CATANIA - ETNA

Arrival in Catania airport and transfer to our accommodation.

2ST DAY: VOLCANO AND LAVA MUSEUM-ETNA

(4 HOURS WALKING. +1000M, -1000M)

Soon after breakfast In the afternoon visit of the Volcano and Lava Museum, which deal with volcanism and those activities taking place in the area round Mount Etna connected with the lava erupted by the largest volcano in Europe. Interactive Museum that will capture children’s attention After ,you will leave for the excursion following one of the several path of the Park of Etna. An optional excursion with the four wheels vehicles is also recommended. Otherwise, you will follow a path reaching the old craters of 2002 eruption. Later, you can have a stop in one of the picturesque kiosks and eat typical sandwiches with sausage.

3ST DAY: PADDLE IN THE WATER OF THE ALCANTARA GORGE - TAORMINA

In the morning visit of Excursion to the Gole dell’Alcantara. The wild scenery, with the high rocky walls of the gorge and the water running between our legs is comparable to any of the other great natural beauties of the world. In the afternoon, excursion to Taormina, the actual town was founded in the 5th century BC by refugees fleeing from the destruction of nearby Naxos, the pioneer Greek colony in Sicily.

4ST DAY: BUTTERFLY PARADISE- FREE TIME

Today we learnabout the fascinating world of “butterfly paradise”in Monteserra Nature reserve.In the afternoon we move to the lovelycoastal towns of Acireale and Acitrezza to relax on the beach (in summer) or sample one of Sicily's famous ice cream.

5ST DAY: PANTALICA ANAPO VALLEY WALK - (3H CAMMINO + 235M – 235M) – (OPTIONAL HORSE RIDING)

We travel south to the Pantalica Natural Reserve, inhabited since the end of the Bronze Age, and we explore its necropolis,second only to the one in Rome In the afternoon there is the time to chill out at the agriturismo in Siracusa area.

6ST DAY: CERAMIC DECORATION LESSON -  SYRACUSE 

In the morning , children will have a lesson of Ceramic Decoration, they will paint for a couple of hours a ceramic object then the teacher will put them in the oven. It will be a moment of fun and relax children will enjoy so much!In the afternoon time dedicated to the town of Siracusa. The Archaeological Park of Siracusa, whose Greek theatre is a masterpiece of both theatre architecture and scenic technique, the Roman theatre was Hewn out of the hillside rock in the 5th Century BC and saw the premier of thousands of performances, many of which have lived on. Then the Ear of Dionysius, one of the most interesting and popular sites in the Paradiso stone quarries. Very fantastic Maniace Caslte....in Syracuse.

7ST DAY: VENDICARI NATURAL RESERVE (2.5 H WALKING +0 – 0) – NOTO

Spend a morning in the Vendicari Reserve. In this marvellous area you can spot over two hundred species of bird, including the pink flamingo (which often nests here). Admire the lakes, and unspoilt beaches, discovering both the ancient tower and the lagoonal area known as the Pantani di Vendicari. Later we will leave towards Noto, a Unesco heritage site and the jewel of Sicilian baroque architecture.

8ST DAY: DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport in time for the flight.
