market1st DAY: PALERMO

Arrival at Palermo airport and private transfer to town, free dinner and overnight in selected hotel.

2nd DAY: PALERMO & MONREALE – (UNESCO 2015)

Discovery of the ancient arab markets and walk trought the “arab-norman path of Palermo”(UNESCO WORD HERITAGE).In the afternoon visit of Monreale and its dome. Return to Palermo, free dinner and overnight.

wine3rd DAY: TRAPANI & MARSALA

Transfer to Trapani for attending a cooking class on traditional food. After lunch transfer to Marsala, the town of the sweet wine, for a wine tasting. Free dinner and overnight.

4th DAY: AGRIGENTO

After breakfast transfer to a local “agriturismo” for an olive oil tasting, free lunch in Sciacca, fisherman town. In the afternoon visit to the famous “Valle dei Templi”. Overnight in Agrigento.

5th DAY: PIAZZA ARMERINA & RAGUSA

In the mornig transfer to Piazza Armerina. Visit of the amazing mosaics of the Villa del Casale followed by an interesting cooking experience. The day continues on to Ragusa with the visit of “Ragusa Ibla”. Overnight.

After breakfast, departure and visit of a local farm for a cheese making demonstration.  Transfer to Noto,Town of the “barocco”, here you will taste a famous “granita” . Continue on to Siracusa and free visit of  the island of Ortigia. Overnight at the hotel.

 

7th DAY: ETNA & TAORMINA

Visit of a typical market of Siracusa and transfer to the highest active volcano of Europe: Etna. Wine and cheese tasting of local products. Transfer to Taormina and free visit of  the town
